Chiplun is a little drowsy village in the locality of Ratnagiri in the Konkan area. The Guhagar sandy seashore is the attractive virgin sandy seashore round 50 kms away from the major village and is a huge hit amongst the tourists. Other than the handicrafts pieces that are made here, the best buys continue to be the localized crop Kokum, mangoes and cashew nuts.
