Location of Nagaur
Nagaur is a small town located midway between Jodhpur and Bikaner,
formally known as Ahichhatrapur. Nagaur is a comfortable one as it is
well connected to all the major cities by both road and rail. The
nearest airport is Jodhpur which is 135 kms away. Trains connect Nagaur
to cities like Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bikaner and Delhi via Merta road.

Khimsar is a couple of hours from Nagaur and has many Bishnoi villages
around it. The place also has a charming old fort converted into a
heritage hotel. Kuchaman is another town located at the other end of the
Sambhar Salt Lake. Kuchaman fort located on the top of a hill is now
converted into a luxury. You could visit the lake to see the fields of
salt and the migratory birds.
