Fort Overview
The construction of the fort was started by Man Singh I in 1592 and was finished by Jai Singh I. The exterior of the fort is totally different to that of the interior of the fort. With the exterior that bore a rugged look, the interior was elegantly designed and gives a totally different experience. The interior is full of architectural work which represents both the Hindu and the Muslim style of architecture. The walls of the fort are fully painted and depict various hunting scenes and some of the walls of the halls are fully covered with small mirrors and mosaic that give it a splendid look.
