Mount Abu Tour
Mount Abu is a scenic and picturesque hill station within the barren desert-scape that’s Rajasthan. The lush, green verdant expanse of Mount Abu makes the hill resort the ‘Paradise of Rajasthan”. Situated at the southern tip of the Aravali range the hill retreat owes its cool climate to the rich flora that caps the entire hillside consisting of coniferous trees and flowering shrubs.
Gaumukh Temple: A natural stream of water flowing across a sculpted cow's head provides the shrine its name. A beautifully sculpted hill temple of Arbuada -the mighty serpent stands against the pretty backdrop.
Dilwara Jain Temple : These beautifully carved temples constructed between 11th and 13th century A.D. are sheer elegance in marble, committed towards the Jain Tirthankaras. The Vimal Vasahi temple, Built within 1031 A.D, is the oldest of those committed towards the former Tirthankara.
Nakki Lake : As per a legend the fingernails of a sage, Balam Rasia, drew the Nakki Lake.The lake is enclosed by hills, parks and strange rock formations .Boating the Nakki Lake and can be enjoyed in summers as the lake often freezes in winters. The boating experience offers tourists a chance to partake in the scenic beauty of Mount Abu.
Sunset Point: A unique vantage point that offers a spectacular sight of the setting sun when the hills are covered by the rays of the setting
Toad Rock - Mount Abu: While drifting Mount Abu you may trip the Brahmakhadd temple. The temple is committed towards Lord Shiva. There are statues of Goddess Parvati and Nandi outside the temple. In the temple you may worship the spiritual pit that is believed to have been designed, by the Lord Shiva's foot.
Around the Nakki Lake there are numerous rock formations that appear to be of a certain shape. You can easily dot the Toad Rock, Nun Rock, Nandi Rock and Camel Rock. At Mount Abu one can enjoy horse rides near the honeymoon point and the sunset points. The beautiful greens and the spectacular sights earn Mount Abu the sobriquet of heaven onto Earth!
