Kumbhalgarh Tours
Rana Kumbha got the Kumbhalgarh citadel constructed in the 15th century. One of the few citadels in Rajasthan that have stayed unconquered. Kumbhalgarh was furthermore the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, Mewar's famous king. The enticements of the citadel encompass several fascinating castles and an array of temples interior it. The outpost is surrounded by a fortified wall , running up to 36 km and provides a splendid outlook of the surroundings.
Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Spread over an area of 578 sq km, the Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary is home to a large variety of wildlife. A bird watcher's paradise, the sanctuary serves as a sanctuary for peacocks, doves, red spur owls, parakeets, golden oriole, gray pigeons, bulbul, white breasted kingfisher, etc. Wolf, leopards, sloth, hyena, jackal, jungle feline, nilgai, four horned antelope, chinkara, grey jungle fowl and several other animals live this sanctuary
Haldighati
Haldighati was the venue of the well renowned battle between Rana Pratap (son of Udai Singh) and the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1576 AD. Haldighati has a chhatri (cenotaph) of Rana Pratap with white marble columns. Also present, is a little chatri dedicated to Rana Pratap's well renowned horse Chetak.
Muchchal Mahavir Temple
Muchchal Mahavir temple is famous for the statue of Lord Mahavira with a moustache, which it enshrines. Guarding the entrances of the temple are two attractive elephant statues. The temple is located in the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary, roughly 5 km from Ghanerao
