
When to Go
While devising plans to visit India, tourists often consider the climatic conditions. They face a dilemma to when to go and when not to go. India is a country which can be visited throughout the year. When one part of the country is facing severe climatic conditions; the other part plays a perfect host to the tourists as weather is pretty good there. In short India is the country you can visit anytime regardless of the season. The Indian subcontinent is marked by mainly three seasons; summer, winter, and monsoon. The other seasons are spring and autumn.
While deciding when to go, the tourist give priority to winters (Nov-Mar), when the weather is very pleasant and walking an extra mile is not burdensome. In this season the country receives huge tourist influx. While the temperature in the plains is moderate the cities in the foothills of Himalayas face chillier waves and immense snow falls.
The tourist should get ready to have an experience of the diverse climatic conditions of India. The tourists should devise their travel plans keeping in minds the destinations they have to visit. The destination called Goa, receives a huge tourists influx during December to January but tourist can visit this destination round the year.
During Summers (Apr-June) the tourist can head for the hill stations of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in Himalayan range of mountains.
