Day 01 / Arrival Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi , you will be received and assist at the airport by our company representative & will be escorted to hotel. Relax and unwind for a night in Delhi
Day 02 / Delhi - Agra - Jaipur (By train and car)
Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra . Breakfast in the train, Arrive Agra in approx. 02 hours &visit the stunning Taj Mahal, a beautiful mausoleum situated on the banks of River Yamuna, was built by Shah Jahan in loving memory of his most adorable wife. It is a beautiful love story engraved in stone. Built in pure white marble, this splendid monument is an architectural wonder known for its intricate detailing, beautiful domes and carvings. The pristine beauty of the Taj Mahal is non-descriptive in words. Designed by an Iranian architect, it is a magnificent edifice exemplifying the immortal love and passion. It took 22 years and more than 20,000 laborers to complete this most extravagant expression of love ever. Taj Mahal is an icon that represents not only Agra but India as a whole visit the magnificent.
Later visit the Agra fort - a beautiful fort built in red sandstone. A UNESCO world heritage site, it has many imposing palaces, courtyards and lush gardens. Shah Jahan was held captive by his son Aurangzeb in this fort only. Few portions of this fort offer magnificent views of the Taj Mahal. This majestic fort stands on banks of River Yamuna.
Afternoon drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to Hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 03 / Jaipur - Delhi (By train )
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort, a magnificent fort constructed by Raja Man Singh in 1592. It lies at a distance of 11 km from Jaipur and is an excellent example of Rajput style of architecture . The beautiful image of the fort on the glittering waters of the lake is really spectacular and mesmerizing.
Also visit city palace. It is a perfect confluence of Rajasthani and Mughal style of architecture. Situated in the heart of the old city , it sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum .
Later visit Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Jantar Mantar is the largest observatory in the world built by Maharaja Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1733. It has a collection of complex astronomical instruments providing accurate information till date. Hawa Mahal- It is a pink colored five storey building built by Maharaja Pratap Singh in 1799. The palace has 953 small windows decorated with lattice work to serve the ladies of royal family to watch processions and several activities taking place on the streets below.
Evening transfer to railway station to board the luxurious air conditioned train to Delhi, Dinner in the train. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi .
Day 04 / Delhi
After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Delhi . Visit the monuments like Red Fort, Qutab Minar and Jantar Mantar that are testimonies of the bygone era. Explore the narrow lanes of famous Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw and enjoy the street food it is renowned for. Also visit New Delhi and see the magnificent buildings built during British Raj like India Gate, the President's House and Parliament House. Set off for an excursion to newly built beautiful Akshardham Temple . Evening at leisure. Night stay in Delhi .
Day 05 / Delhi – Haridwar
Early morning depart for Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar & transfer to hotel. In afternoon proceed for an excursion to several temples including Pareshwar Mahadev Temple , Daksha Mahadev Temple and Mansa Devi Temple . Post visiting temples visit Har-ki-Pauri (the footstep of God) in the evening. This ghat was built by King Vikrmaditya in remembrance of his brother Bharti Hari. It is one of the most sacred ghats in India and it is said that taking a dip in the holy water of River Ganges on this ghat is a way to attain salvation. Attend the Aarti of the Holy River Ganges on the ghat in the evening. The calmness offered by the enchantment of mantras and beauty of the floral diyas floating in the river will leave you spell bounded. Night stay in Haridwar.
Day 06 / Haridwar - Rishikesh - Delhi – Departure
Morning visit an astrologer to know about your horoscope, stars and other information about your fortune. Later depart for Rishikesh by road. Rishikesh, located on the lap of the lower Himalayas , is a sacred city highly revered by the Hindus. it is a point from where the journey to Chardham begins. Known as “the world capital of Yoga”, it has many ashrams offering classes on Yoga and Meditation. The city has many temples and is an important pilgrimage centre. Set off an excursion to Lakshman Jhula. It is said that the Lakshman crossed a bridge made of jute ropes here on River Ganges. This bridge got damaged with passage of time and was replaced be a suspension bridge made of Iron. The view from the bridge is very panoramic.
Proceed to view Bharat Mandir, built in 12 th century by Adiguru Shankracharya near Triveni Ghat. The temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Rama and is the oldest temple in Rishikesh. Optional activities –Enjoy White water rafting with water gushing down at the speed from an altitude of 480 meters.
Late afternoon drive to Delhi & transfer to international airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
