Golden Temple Tour (01 Night/ 02 Days)

Day 1 / Delhi – Amritsar

Pick up from hotel & depart from Delhi for Amritsar by super fast Shatabdi Express. On arrival at Amritsar Railway Station at 1305 hrs, you will be welcomed by our representative at the railway station and will be escorted to hotel. Check in at the hotel.

In evening set for an excursion to the Wagah Border to see the Border Retreat Ceremony performed by the soldiers.

The whole process of the soldiers from India and Pakistan performing a flag march, the change of guards and opening of gates between India and Pakistan , Soldiers perform drills and illumination of the whole complex, everything is truly mesmerizing and is a viewer's retreat. Confirm the timings before leaving to witness this interesting event since these are changed seasonally.

The night stay will be at hotel in Amritsar .

Day 02 / Amritsar – Delhi

Morning set off to visit the Golden Temple . Founded by fifth Guru, Arjan Sahib, it is the most revered pilgrimage of Sikhs. It is a symbol of culture and demeanor of the people who believe in Sikhism. The architecture of the temple reflects the creativity and skillfulness of its craftsman and is a perfect fusion of the Hindu and Muslim manner of ornamentation. The temple is situated in the water tank. The four entries to the temple signify that it is open to devotees of all religions.

Also visit Jallianwala Bagh. The Jallianwala Bagh has an important place in India 's struggle for independence. It is a beautiful garden and has a Sikh religious shrine. The garden has a Martyrs' Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty. One such peaceful meeting was organized here on 13 April 1919. The then British General, Edward Dyer ordered his soldiers to open fire at the unarmed civilians resulting in death of nearly 2000 innocent people.

Afternoon transfer to railway station to board the train back to Delhi .
