Day 01: Srinagar - Pahalgam
Our representative will pick you up from Srinagar airport and will escort you on your 10 hrs journey to Pahalgam by car. On reaching Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds), he will assist you checking-in at hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Pahalgam - Chandanwari
Make a trip to Chandanwari. Pahalgam serves as the transit point for the trekking. Chandanwari (2896metres above sea level) is a picturesque valley on the confluence of Chandanwari and Astanmarg streams. You will cover a stretch of about 16 km in a 4-½ hrs trekking adventure. Enjoy your dinner in a make shift tent.
Overnight in tents at Chandanwari.
Day 03: Chandanwari - Sheshnag
Travel further for about 13 km to Sheshnag.
The winding trail scales steadily to the Lake of Sheshnag through the Pisu Valley. Sheshnag has a distinction of being the windiest location in valley. After 5 hrs trek have dinner in tents. Overnight in tents at Sheshnag.
Day 04: Sheshnag - Panchtarani
Brace yourself for 5 hrs (13 km) trek from Sheshnag to Panchtarani-3657 meters above sea level. While trekking to Panchtarani you will pass through Mahagunas Pass 3200 meters above the sea level. Have your dinner at Panchtarani.
Overnight in tents at Panchtarani.
Day 05: Panchtarani - Amarnath - Sheshnag
Early in the morning start trekking from Panchtarani to Amarnath Cave which is 6 km from here. Have a holy dip into the chilled water of Amarnath stream, flowing outside the cave. Enter inside the serene surrounding of the cave decorated with three huge Lingams portraying Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Ganesh. A backward trekking will take you to Sheshnag.
Day 06: Sheshnag - Pahalgam - Srinagar
As you are on return from trekking, you have to move down to Pahalgam through Chandanwari. After arrival at Pahalgam, take a drive to Srinagar. In Srinagar you will enjoy dinner and check in to one of the illustrious houseboat for overnight.
Day 07: In Srinagar
Make a morning excursion for sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit Mughal Garden and Nishat Bagh built by Asif Khan (brotherin law of Jehangir) in 1632AD.Nishat Bagh is also known as the dwelling of pleasure. Visit to Shalimar Bagh (abode of love) is also part of this trip. Shalimar Bagh was built by Jehangir for his queen Noor Jehan. These picturesque gardens are located on the banks of Dal Lake with Zabarwan Mountains in the perspective. After lunch relaxation enjoy a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake to catch glimpses of floating and vegetable gardens.
Overnight at deluxe houseboat.
Day 08: In Srinagar
The full day is at your own leisure. if you please go for the shopping or do something of your own interest.
Dinner and overnight in houseboat.
Day 09: Srinagar - Jammu
In the morning drive to TRC/Airport to return back to Jammu or fly Jammu Delhi.
