Jhankad: A grand car festival is held here annually which attracts a gigantic crowd. Situated 60-km from Cuttack, Jhankad lodgings Gahirmatha Beach, the shrine of Goddess Sarala and the location is connected with poet Sarala Das, the first epic poet of Orissa.
Bhitarkanika National Park: Bhitarkanika National Park, sprawled through 367 sq km, is home to assortment of animals. The exciting forest is swathed by mangrove forests criss-crossed by rivers and creeks.

Gahirmatha beach: Known for crocodiles, marine waters turtles and water monitor lizards, Gahirmatha beach has rare white crocodiles. It is also a Park for deer and migratory birds. One can also see 10th-11th century temples, sculptures, mud-forts and potteries at this spot.
